A segment of the Riverwalk was installed along the shoreline in the park, connecting to new walkways throughout the park. Extensive upland improvements were also made, including the construction of a performance stage, gazebo, new playgrounds for younger and older children, a comfort station with anti-graffiti coating, great lawn, pedestrian lighting and new picnic tables, grills, benches, and trash receptacles. Electrical upgrades were made and an irrigation system was installed to maintain the grass and shrubs.
